The Company was formed on March 22, 2007, is qualified as a mortgage investment corporation under the Income Tax Act (Canada) and carries on the business (the “Business”) of providing mortgage loans to owners and developers of residential, commercial, office, industrial and other real estate projects generally in urban or suburban centres in British Columbia and Alberta. We will consider lending in other provinces in Canada if our Board of Directors determines the lending to be appropriate. We do not intend to invest in mortgages against real property located outside of Canada..
